All sectors of the market – inbound/production logistics, finished vehicles and the aftermarket – will be profoundly affected with contractions in each regional market.

The Covid-19 outbreak in China initially impacted on the supply chain to Europe and North America, with some production slowed or halted. Auto manufacturers closed in Europe and North America due to a combination of safety issues in their own factories and outbreaks of Coronavirus in their supply chain which meant that the supply of parts was disrupted.
